It is important to us that the GPH Participation Platform is suitable and safe for everyone who is using it.

Agreeing to these Terms of Use also includes our Participation Guidelines. Please make sure you read and understand these before taking part.

It is your choice what activities you take part in on this site and what input you share when taking part. To help you choose if you want to take part, each activity will give you clear information, such as:

  • What the project is about and how your input helps.
  • What organisation is running the project.
  • Contact information for questions about the project.
  • What options are available for you to take part.
  • What will happen to the information you share.
  • Important dates and stages of the project.

Many projects allow you to take part without sharing your name. This means we cannot contact you to give you updates on your project. If you would like updates, click the ‘follow’ button on the page and we will send you an email when there is news on the project. You can change what we contact you about at any time.

3. Regional Lived Experience, Peer and Carer Networks

Grand Pacific Health partners with Primary Health Networks (PHNs) and mental health, suicide prevention and alcohol and other drugs service providers to deliver Lived Experience, Peer and Carer Networks (‘Networks’) in some regions.

The Networks share opportunities for people with lived experience, carers and community members to contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of services and programs operating in their local area. They also offer professional development, events and other activities to people employed as Peer Workers in the region.

Opportunities delivered as part of the Lived Experience, Peer and Carer Networks may be run by Grand Pacific Health, or another organisation. We will always be clear about which organisation is leading the activity. You are free to choose which activities you take part in.

If you select a member group when registering for the GPH Participation Platform and live in an area with an active Lived Experience, Peer and Carer Network, we will send you emails about this. If you do not wish to be sent Network emails, please contact us on involve@gph.org.au

4. Technical Issues

Your use of the platform will rely on internet and network services that we do not control. This means that the GPH Participation Platform may sometimes be unavailable.

We are not responsible for loss, damage, costs or expenses caused by delays, communication failures, internet problems, or equipment or software faults. Please contact us if you have trouble using the platform.
